56 on a 25 MPH School Zone - Reckless - PLEASE HELP! Court Tomorrow Morning!?

Postby fiynn » Mon Jul 23, 2012 6:46 am

I want someone to tell me (from experience), or someone who knows the laws and punishments please.
I was caught doing a 56 on a 25 school zone. I was driving for atleast 5 seconds because i wanted to show my friend my new exhaust and intake. I gun it towards the school area and an under cover cop pulls me over on the spot. Now before this, i was pulled over doing reckless (without a given speed) and eluding cop (trying to escape) as they say it, which i was not at all. The thing is that my court date for the previous ticket was rescheduled because the officer was sick. I have the 56/25 school zone reckless driving court date tomorrow morning and i am freaking out. I am 19, and this is my 6th ticket. I KNOW DON'T JUDGE ME. I am a fast driver i dont care haha. But what will happen to me? I already surrendered my license 3 months ago before any court dates to keep myself from causing anything else. Please help me out, My family is not that rich to pay the big fines and all and i am dying to drive again and will be a lot more responsible no doubt. PLEASE ANSWER ME I NEED HELP!

If you can't pay the fine...don't do the crime.

grow up and stop making stupid decision. That's the best advice anyone can give you.

You said you don't care, so accept the consequences.

Well, reckless ... I'd say your goose is cooked. No help for you, no way to avoid the inevitable.

The fines will be high, your license will be suspended at least (with a driving record like yours, possibly revoked).

You are a fast driver, obviously you don't care. I'll bet the judge will get your attention. HA HA. Get yourself some walking shoes and a bus pass.

well dont count of having your lisence for a while
expect a huge fine
you could be facing jail time if they find you was driving on a suspended license

After you pay the fines, you won't have any money to pay for the car insurance premiums which will go through the roof. You don't seem to understand you have personal responsibility. "I am a fast driver i don't care haha." With that attitude, it's better you don't drive. Maybe the court could sentence you to work on a volunteer ambulance so you can respond to accident scenes where some kid wrapped his car around a tree and you can help look look for little pieces to put in the body bag.
