An online game called Heromon. Is this game illegal to play?

There is a game called Pokemon World online that copies lots of images from Pokemon games(unless they sprited them from scratch I not sure), but anyhow. While that game is technically operating illegally a DEV is working on an online game called Heromon, to try and get around the copyright, but still have a similar fun game to play. Heromon seems to be cut it REALLY close to close to copyright infringment unless it already does, but does it evade copyright and is it legit. That is what I want to know. I was player of Pokemon world online long ago, left but then wanted to return because I was getting bored of lots of online games I normally played, but my conscience bugs me a lot to play games illegaly. So I hoping that they will make this game legit enough.

Please note that the people who make this game supposedly where using Sweden Servers which evade international copyright law.
