Anyone know about Workman's Comp?

Postby jolie » Fri Apr 01, 2011 6:46 am

I just got a letter in the mail that says:

"An application for adjunction of claim has been filed with the workers compensation appeals board for the above claimed injury. Please reference the above wcab ID number on all correspondence to the wcab. This notice constitutes a conformed copy of the application."

Can someone explain what this means to me? Please?

did you get an actual and update copy of this application for adjunction.
if not, request a copy. There letter just says that the board is only confirming that an application has been made--nothing else.

You have the right to know what this addition is.. So get that copy as I said,

It sounds like they're trying to change some small wording in your claim? Either that, or add something small.

adjunction - A clause or phrase added to a sentence that, while not essential to the sentence's structure, amplifies its meaning, such as "for several hours" in "We waited for several hours."
