I was injured at work and I need some information about workman's comp?

Postby chason58 » Sat Mar 03, 2012 9:36 am

I was injured on the job and lost my eye, my job still had me working and going through workman's comp for all my medical procedures. When I contacted workman's comp regarding compensation for the loss of my eye they told me there was nothing they could do for me. To make matters worse I am an HB2 worker from Mexico and I am not here full time. What do I have to do in order to be compensated for losing my eye on the job?

You need contact a lawyer if the work comp carrier stated that there isn't compensation other than medical for a lost eye. There is in every state that has workers compensation law.

You need to talk to a lawyer. Also, this is something that AD&D insurance should cover.
