Bankruptcy Concerns and Questions?

Postby croslea » Fri Oct 28, 2011 3:40 pm

I live in Missouri. My main concern and question is how will bankruptcy affect me negatvely besides the obvious that creditors, employers, and renters, etc., being leary about helping me? I have contacted a credit counselor and tried to read answers on here and do research on bankruptcy laws in Missouri. The credit counseling service wants me to pay $150 a month which does not include two of my creditors valued at over $3000 (because I recently chose to add them). Therefore I am guessing my monthly payment would be more. It will be a struggle for me to even afford the $150.00 a month since I am working part time and looking for a full time job. Can you offer ANY advice of what route I should take. I am desperate to either pay off my creditors or just get rid of everything. I am tired of panicing. Thank you.

Bankruptcy Concerns and Questions?

Nearly all consumer bankruptcy attorneys offer free consultations. Take advantage of this to meet with one and get advice based on all of the details of your particular situation. You can find a referral at NACBA.org (National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys).
