Law questions About Bankruptcy?

1. this is for the state of arizona, if my wife has documents with both our names on it, can she legally sign my name if im not there? what i looked up ,is you need power of attorney, but im not sure.

2. if you file bankruptcy in say 2010, are your 2009 taxes subject to seizure? just curious,cause one retired trustee i ran into said that 2009 taxes are not part of the 2010 estate? unless i mis understood ( for the state of Az Also)

1. No one can ever sign someone else's name without a POA.

2. Your taxes are never subject to seizure. Your tax refund may be. Whether or not it could be seized depends on who is doing the seizing and why.
