Bankruptcy Transformation Underneath The New Legislation

Postby Nosh » Thu Jun 12, 2014 11:16 am

Underneath the fresh BK regulations, is it feasible to transform a section 13 to some section 7? I might get let go from function and wouldn't have the ability to continue the funds of course if I had been let go then my extra revenue could be in the correct quantity for section 7.

Postby Alao » Mon Jun 16, 2014 4:59 am

The current U.S. Bankruptcy code provides:

Quoting 11 USC 1307(a)

The debtor may convert a case under this chapter to a case under chapter 7 of this title at any time. Any waiver of the right to convert under this subsection is unenforceable.
