Police officers have years of experience in spotting drivers where they know something is wrong. You don't think that broke any traffic laws but its likely you did and it got you in trouble.

Look up the term probable cause. The officer had probable cause you didnt have a license. It sounds like they were right and the stop was legal

It wouldn't be hard for him to say that you were a "suspicious person", and anything that might entail, but doesn't mean you have to like it.

Reasonable suspicion is probable cause to a belief that you were not old enough.
Since his belief was founded, then it gives more credence to his cause.

If you looked somewhat nervous when the cop was by he might have suspected something. He has EVERY right to do so.
