Can those affected by the credit downgrade now begin a class action lawsuit against Republicans?

Postby pascoe69 » Mon Nov 21, 2011 11:20 am

Or does their position as members of Congress give them immunity, meaning replacing them in a new election is our only option?

Question: What did Republicans do?

Answer:
1. deregulated trade with China and other foreign nations with lower currency values, leading to job outsourcing, and higher national debt.
2. Reagan in the 80s made it possible to borrow from foreign nations to cover our debt.
3. repealed many FDR era laws taking our economy back to the time before they existed.
4. supported war ---you do realize it costs money right?
5. Deregulated mortgage based derivatives
6. propgandized the American media brainwashing people into thinking cash flow and higher wages was bad for the economy.

We wouldn't have a deficit had tariffs not been removed form imports and jobs allowed to be outsourced.
it was not Democrats that did that.
Every Republican economic policy for the past 50 years has eroded the American economy.
yeah it has made the rich wealthier, but that is about all it has done. And most of those rich are foreign investors.

this entire situation was manufactured by Republicans for the benefit of the rich. anyone with half a brain should have realized this was going to be the end result of trade deregulation with China.

The rich now have more money. They will make money off this to since they have businesses in China and Russia.
Who do you think wanted American economy to be stabalized other than Al queda?

[Obama: You know, if -- if all we're doing is spending and we're not making things, then over time other countries are going to get tired of lending us money and eventually the party's going to be over. Well, in fact, the party now is over.]

You've witlessly confused Republicans with the Debt and Spend Dimocrats, genius. Dance at the end of their strings, little puppet...dance.

But what did Republicans do?

All they wanted was to cut enough to save the credit rating, but their plans got tabled in the Senate.

Obama said there was no threat of a downgrade... now look.

No matter what you do, the crack-heads standing on Harlem corners
will continue to cash in their food stamps for crack-cocaine.

You've got the balls to sue them?...:-)

The Democrats could have done something if they weren't too busy crying about not getting their way. I will be so glad when the senate falls to the Republicans this election.

What is your cause of action? You need a theory of liability that will withstand dismissal or summary judgment. Spit it out son! Put up or shut up.

I would prefer to begin a class action lawsuit against Democrats whom voted down two perfect solutions in the Senate.
