Like if you tell a priest or friend/family and they go to the police to tell them can you get arrested for it or in trouble? I did drugs and regret it so bad now and want to get help and talk to someone about it but don't want ot get in trouble. Thanks. The drug was cocaine.

No, you can say you do drugs all day long but that won't get you in trouble. What gets people in trouble is possession.

Have a look for charities and organisations that you can talk to about using drugs.
I know loads in the UK but none in US.
You only get in trouble for possession, supplying and importing/transporting

No you cannot. It wouldn't hold up in court either way. Keep your nose clean though and that is with no pun intended.

Technically, yes. In reality, no.

It is illegal to consume illegal drugs. Admitting the use of those drugs to police *could* get you arrested.

The reality is more that the police have no real evidence to back up your claim, and so it is almost certain that you won't be arrested. By saying that though, you are giving the police suspicion that you may be carrying illegal drugs and they may opt to search you.

If you did cocaine and regret it, great. Don't do it again. If this was your one and only time, it is highly doubtful that you need any help to stop. Don't talk to the police - they are not there to help you, only make arrests. If you really feel you need some sort of help, contact a therapist.
