Car accident question ?

I got in a car accident out on the highway and after that I lost my phone in the accident so I couldn't call 911, so I just went out to the road and got a ride home after that I went to the hospital where a police officer showed up and I got a ticket for speeding and for not calling the police right away and he gave me a court date. Wha will happen?

first, youre going to have an arraignment. basically its just a hearing where you plead (guilty not guilty no contest etc). if you plead not guilty then you go to trial and plead your case. if you plead guilty (if you were gonna do that you might as well just plead no contest) then you pay the fine and go on your way.

You can explain your reasons what why at that time you are not able to call police, court will understand it, but looks like you have to pay fine for the speeding ticket.
