Class Action settlement against Netflix?

I just received an email about a class action settlement against Netflix. I didn't even realize they were being sued. It's saying that Netflix unlawfully kept and disclosed information, and that I have until November to be excluded from the settlement or else my rights will be affected. What does that mean? I don't have the money for a lawyer for this but I'm afraid if I do nothing I'll get screwed. What's going on?

It may be a simple suit. Contact who sent the email and get more information. If it is a good suit an attorney will take your case and get paid if you do.

Its a frivolous lawsuit that is resulting in Netflix paying out to a couple people & lawyers & they are just letting us know that some policy we didn't know about is changing.
