I thought the Grand Canyon was the name of a strip bar in downtown LA. A place where you can see high mountains and enjoy viewing deep valleys as well. ElBanditoRoso 39 months ago

THE "Grand Canyon" is in Arizona, but I'm sure the 3rd largest state might also have a canyon named "grand." Properly expressed, your sentence should say, "Did anyone know a Grand Canyon is in California?" As you have it, it's somewhat deceptive. danielpauldavis 39 months ago

I didn't get the memo, but it's not surprising. It turns out that the canyon is undocumented, and feared being moved to Mexico if it stayed in Arizona. So it just pulled up in the middle of the night and moved west, hoping to find a safer place to squat. IchtheosaurusRex 39 months ago
