Did my ex best friends mom ruin my life?

Okay to make a long story short, I didn't want to be with my best friend anymore because she was too depressing for me. We talked behind each others backs and one of my friends told me that my ex best friend pretended to slit her throat and indecated it towards me. I told my friend that she could go to hell. My ex best friend told her mom and her mom sent me a message on facebook saying that if I don't stop calling names then she'll tell my mom and sue me for slander. I think my ex friend should be sued because she wanted me dead. All I said was that she could go to hell. So now, I don't want anything to do with having friends because I'm afraid they will threten me or sue me for something I did.

Just simply block the two of them from Facebook and anything else possible! Ignore them when you see them, let them know that you have a good time without them! That's the best thing you can do without it getting messy.

No, she has not ruined your life. First of all, neither of you can be sued for making rude gestures or telling eachother to go to hell. You should ignore her and her mother (and block them on Facebook) and not participate in their immature games. Fortunately you realized that this person is not a true friend and it's best that you move on without her. Now if she is making actual threats of violence and not just stupid gestures then you should go to the police but from what you describe I think it's safe to say that if you just ignore her, she and her mother will eventually go away.

First off, you can't sue someone for saying go to hell. It's just an empty threat. But if she did make a threat at your life, like she said she was going to kill you then she could be in trouble. But don't bring this to court, that is just stupid:p unless you hit her or make a threat at her life then your fine. But don't let her bother you, if she was talking about you behind your back then screw her and move on with your life cause if she keeps giving you problems the that really pathetic on her part and then you can let her know it and theirs no come back for being that pathetic.:)
