She is correct. If she wants to move with her LDB then she can leave the children with their father and SHE can visit them. That would make her a pretty bad parent though...
In most custody situations the primary residency parent is NOT allowed to move the children out of state. It would then cause the children to see their other parent less - if at all - and cause parental alienation.
Also, the person moving - if a judge allows it - is the person that has to pay ALL transportation costs to get the children to and from their scheduled visitations with the other parent.
My advice to you? Butt out...
