Do we really need a Wall Street and a Federal Reserve?

I realize that some people don't have the ability to start their own business. That is OK they could always lend money to company and the corporation can give them a bond as an agreement to pay them back with interest. No middle man involved just 2 people and a Justice system to make sure the agreement is kept.

Stocks can work like this too. I mean if you want to buy stocks you can act like a venture capitalist and see what the company is all about. You can look at their balance sheet and the company can even give you insider information without getting into trouble.

I really don't see why we need a middle man who brings down the value of your company through naked short selling. That is just evil. If the company is not doing well then you can negotiate with the owner or sell your shares back to them. Agreements can make the transition easy and better than this whole Wall Street thing.

I mean we all know that big money is getting insider information and news that the rest of us don't get. When they do they start short selling and they screw you over. By law you won't even know what is going on until its too late.

Then when the crap hits the fan the Government bails them out and leaves the citizens hung to dry for it. Something just does not sound right about any of this.

I totally agree with you about the drug crazed agenda ridden middle man. He needs to go the way of the Dinosaur. Then I would think about investing but not until then
