What do you all think of the protest on wall street?

Postby bocley » Tue Dec 13, 2011 11:24 am

Giant news corporations have obviously blocked out certain aspects of the protesters. I am very much conservative and believe in the right to protest Bill of Rights: Amendment 1:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the? free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. I am sorry fellow conservatives but these people are right 10,000 percent they are not morons hippies or ignorant they are very intelligent working class people who believe corporate greed has corupted the political powers of America. What do you all think please no fox news comments I love fox news but hey are not supporting working class people right now.

What do you all think of the protest on wall street?

You rock Michael, You have answered your own question.

Many of us who have worked all of our lives have been taken to the cleaners over the past 30 years more than once. We have adapted to the terrible decisions our government allowed. The bad guys get away with theft by scam and take off in the private jets for parts unknown. We have lost our 401K, watched stock market manipulations, outsourcing, corruption, lobbyist BS, pensions unfunded, good food unavailable, monopolistic policy in everything. Where are the trust busters of yesteryear? Family structure is split apart. Jobs and companies move where ever they get the cheapest taxes, labor, and other breaks that they do not deserve. Forced to buy over priced real estate... or unreal rents plus HOA fees that are structured to continue to make the investors rich FOREVER....and... What should have been illegal, escalation of interest rates, foisted on first time home buyers.... A literal Tsunami of corruption and they just move on. People are blaming this on the USA. We have been fighting this garbage forever... Corporations are international pirates, preying on the naive and needy We have lost the battle...we need to take this people movement global. We are not fat, lazy, greedy or ignorant. We do not resent immigration, I am 3rd generation. We are a bit gullible and naive to think that you can ever trust a system that is predicated on greed. Car dealers have a saying....think about it every time you go buy a car..."There is an *** for every seat." We have predators running the world with a private army of elitists to do their dirty work.

Another old saying is "You can't cheat an honest man" that is not true. There are good honest people who play by the rules and then get shafted when the powers that be decide they need another Billion for the next country they want to invade. The world needs to know that we do not resent the outsourcing, we do not resent the fact that we are sharing with the other workers of the world....We resent the big sh-ts who are taking advantage of ALL of us. If we keep this up we will once again have a discernible slave class. Or have we always had one? I still have my flag but i am going to fly it up side down. My father and brothers who have served this country would agree, we are in trouble. I will continue to vote, but how do you get rid of the Rupert Murdocks?

The police allowed them on the bridge was my understanding... then everyone was arrested... Naturally...it is easier to believe that the protestors are trouble. I watched them put that orange mesh around peacefull demonstrators and pepper spray them in the face. ...The world is watching...
