Do you believe there are any non-stoners who support marijuana legalization?

I don't believe there are any. Why would any law-abiding citizen who knows the dangers of drugs allow other people to ruin their lives with pot? I'm pretty sure only stoners care about getting weed legalized

Wrong. I have no problem with pot being legalized. I was a regular pot user but just got bored with it and stopped smoking years ago. That's what happens with most pot smokers, you know -- once you get older, it's not new and fun any more, and you just stop smoking! LOL, did you think that all pot smokers end up in jail?

"The dangers of drugs"? Pot isn't crack or crystal meth. Pot doesn't ruin people's lives. You're just being silly.

Prosecuting marijuana-related crime is a waste of our time and money. Legalize it.

I personally do not like the taste, smell or high of weed and don't do any drugs. I do support the legalization of marijuana for a number of reasons.

Federal bans on weed are not within the power granted to the federal government by the US Constitution. That is a power granted to the states.

One a state level I see no reason for it to be illegal. I know plenty of stoners and although many of the heavy smokers are dumb as dirt (maybe that's why they started rather than an effect) weed does not make them harmful to others. Laws are supposed to be to protect us from being harmed by others. There should be no laws protecting us from our own stupidity.

It makes sense economically. Obviously, if there was a public safety risk this would not be an issue, but there is no public risk. Weed being legal would generate additional revenue a number of ways. Stores would sell it, resulting in more sales tax collected. Surely additional taxes would be placed on weed, like on alcohol and tobacco. Millions or billions a year are spent on "drug war" and housing inmates convicted of selling or using weed. That's a total waste of tax dollars.

You'd be surprised at how many people do pot and you don't even know it. I know doctors and lawyers who do it, and even people with government jobs. They may not be speaking up to legalize it because they could lose alot, but they would appreciate it being legalized. And why would you even post a question like this when you have your own opinions and would probably never change them?

I'm not a stoner I have only smoked pot 1 time in my 46 years and I support the legalization. While pot does have it's health risks the risks are no more dangerous than drinking alcohol/beer. It's all about moderation.

I will never smoke marijuana. But I support the legalization of it. I would much rather people smoke weed rather than poison themselves with alcohol and cigarettes. Marijuana doesn't ruin people's lives unless the person was already stupid.

I'm not a stoner and I think it should be legal for medical use.
