It may the be most tragic love story of our time: Alejandro Perez and Prop 8 As an insider for the No on 8 campaign, Perez voted for a resolution to not include actual same-sex couples in No on 8 TV ads. He also voted to not campaign more heavily to African-Americans. What happened next? 7 out of 10 African-Americans voted for Prop 8. The LA Times even said that they pushed the measure over the top. They say you can't buy love, but we've already payed a heavy price.

Guaya asserted that Rodgers must be on the "down low" because he's a black gay young man. He also said that "those kinds of people are the reason why black women get AIDS".
