Yes, I think this policy is great. Some immigrants have so much to offer to the American economy but can't because they were brought here when they were children and did NOT make that decision. This policy does not only benefit illegal immigrants it also benefits american citizens. There are many intelligent immigrants who can open businesses and provide jobs for citizens. Not to mention those who exceed in their fields can contribute their knowledge to make America an even more powerful nation.

Against. Anyone here illegally is a criminal. If they are victims of their parents criminal act of coming into this country illegally, then let them apply for citizenship like the thousands who immigrate legally every month. The plague of illegal immigration has been bringing down our economy for the past 25yrs. If they enter the US without going through the same thing every other legal immigrant does, they are criminals. Obama is just trying to get the latino vote. It is really a pathetic move and once Romney wins the election, it will be overturned.

You have people who grew up in the country who go to American schools often without knowing that they are out of status until college time comes. Unable to work, unable to drive, etc. Dream act should've passed back in 2010 (vote was 55-41). Regarding idiots yelling "up to 30 yr olds benefit", yeah keep in mind that they still must satisfy the "arrive at age less than 16" requirement. If someone lives 14+ years without committing any crimes in the country they should be automatically given residency, immigration policy needs a statute of limitations (IRCA 1986 had one set at 5 years).

PS. Illegal immigration is not criminal, it is civil. Same as putting up a fence without a permit is illegal but not criminal. Even repeated illegal re-entries are not criminal.

Hardly so, poll after poll show that 55% or more supported the Dream act, the ones you hear however are the crazy racist nativists, same people who and children of people who opposed blacks getting equal rights in 1964. There just has to be someone beneath them.

Regarding Hit- err, King's lawsuit he (King) will lose. USCIS has on many occasions granted Deferred Action to multiple people on case-by-case basis, this is barely any different. Only the supreme court can do anything; should any lesser court block the policy it can only block it within its jurisdiction (ie. go to another state and apply there).

We have 9% minimum unemployment in America call it THIRTY MILLION Americans and rather then work on the economy Obama caters to Illegals for a few illegal votes, THIS is a main reason that voters should be required to produce ID. You have to produce it to drive, buy cigarettes get food stamps and welfare, you have to show a valid ID to buy Liquor or even go into a bar but one of the most important things we do VOTE and all you have to do is show up say you're so and so whether you are or not and you're handed a ballot.
