This is a messy can of worms that Obama did just to get Latino support in the next election.
He is hoping that they will forget that he came down hard on Zimmerman, a Latino, in favor of Trevor Martin in a case he had no legal interest in.

Congress decided not to vote on this law and the President MAY have over stepped his boundaries.
However, he does not care for that as long as it helps him politically.

This is the "Change" you voted for in 2008. Politics but no substance.

Nope. If you ENTERED legally, you're getting no help from any Democrat. Democrats will help you ONLY if you infiltrated illegally.

Doesn't matter. The Republican controlled House will never pass it. Without clearing the House, it is DEAD, irrelevant, immaterial. So is speculation about what it would do if the republicans did pass it.

Wow this guys just racist. In my opinion it is a good move. More ppl will be able to work. And spend money. More will open business and give americans jobs. Its all good. Stop being racist and start actually thinking about a better america... ***** lol

And for ur question i think so. The requirments were that u gata be under 30 and have been brought here at age 13 or younger with no felonies or arrests. (Not 100% on that age tho)

The requirements are as follows:
Arrived in US prior to turning 16.
Lived in US for 5 years prior to may 15th 2012.
Be of good moral character (clean criminal record).
Graduated US high school, or got an American GED, or are honorably discharged veterans of the Coast Guard or Armed Forces of the United States
Be 15-30 years old.

The policy doesn't care if arrival was on a valid visa or without inspection (ie. jumped the fense). Any overstayer who meets the above criteria can apply under it.

This just show you what this administration thinks of the UNEMPLOYED LEGAL AMERICANS..In other words you are thrown under the bus for work..Hope you find something before your benefits expire..and if they have, with all of this change, you might be able to find a nice large box behind Walmart to keep out of the weather...Job? What Job?

No, it is only for people who broke the law to come here. Since you entered the right way, you don't qualify.

There is no such thing as an "overstayed illegal immigrant." Somebody who overstayed is not an illegal immigrant; he's "out of status."

So let me educate you in a nutshell. Let me tell you what the difference between an illegal immigrant and somebody who is out of status is.

1) Out of status
Somebody who entered the U.S. "with inspection" which means with a visa or as part of the VWP. Such a person applied for a visa at the U.S. consulate in their home country. They had an interview and needed to submit a police certificate. They were issued a visa and then they were inspected again before being "admitted" to the U.S., at which time they received an I-94 (Entry/Exit) form in their passport.
The U.S. government knows everything about them; their name, their parents’ name, their birth day and birth place, their criminal history, work history, and even where they are staying in the U.S.

2) Illegal immigrant
Entered the U.S "without inspection" (EWI) by hopping a fence, swimming through the Rio Grande, or hiding in the trunk of a car. The U.S. government knows absolutely nothing about them. Not-a-thing. They could be mass murderers or serial child rapists, drug smugglers or worse.

The difference is easily explained by comparison:

You are having a party. You invited a guy to that party and when the party is over he's still staying. All you need to tell him is to leave, and if he does, you have no problem. That's the guy who overstayed.

But if you don't have a party, come home, and there's a guy who climbed into your house through the back window, and you have no clue if he's just a thief or worse, that's the illegal immigrant. Here you need to call the cops and they have every right to arrest him for a crime.

Now to your question: Obama's policy would benefit illegal aliens and overstayers equally, as long as they were brought to the U.S. before age 16.
