Okay so about a month ago I was Ice skating with my friend and hadn't been in years. And I tripped, went flying and landed on my lower knee caps (kinda like where my shin bones stick out at the top) and if I recall I'm pretty sure I landed with my bum quite close to my feet of you know what I mean. It was a very awkward pain and I couldn't laugh or cry. I could walk afterwards but I knew something was wrong. I RICEd it that night and I woke up the next morning and my right knee was in severe pain especially if I were to move it. I went to the doctors and got a knee brace and had an X-ray the next week and he said it is just a ligament and should be fine with rest. I had to leave my job because after hitting google I realized how serious knee injuries are. I am just worried there isn't something more serious going on. Anyway so that was a month ago and it doesn't realy hurt unless Ofcourse I strain it a bit. I am unable to squat and it hurts a little bit towards the back right hand side of my knee (that's where the pain is). Also my left knee hurts a tiny bit now if I squat too. And after squatting yesterday both knees felt unstable like Jelly. Also should I wear my (friggen) knee brace everyday still? (because I have only been a couple times a week)
Advice please!
And any personal experiences would be fantastic!
Cheers heaps yahoo answerers!
Peace, from Australia
