What should I do with my left knee?

Postby tupac » Wed Jul 04, 2012 11:02 am

I honestly don't really know what happened. I just woke up this morning and my knee had some really bad pains. It was the top of the inside of my left knee. Unfortunately I have training in an hour. Whenever I walk the pain grows and grows worse and my mom just avoids it. I'm kind of concerned because if it is serious then that means I couldn't play soccer. I play competitive soccer and any sort of injury is serious. Each time I walk it seems as if my knee is getting worse. I can't cancel my personal training which is very intense by the way. I don't know what to do about my knee. I heard about extending your knee back and forth and I did that to search for a "click." Unfortunatley there WAS a click. So I don't know what to do anymore because my mom is just ignoring it.

You have tight muscles around your knee to cause it to pull your leg into the knee joint to bind it up to cause the pain. Any pressures on it is going to make it worse for you and is causing premature wear and tear on your knee. Walking on that would be bad enough but playing on it would cause much, much more wear on the knee area I wouldn't want. The muscles can be freed back up to get rid of the problems, I've done them myself, but are difficult so you need to find one trained in them.
