Experimenting Doctors....Don t They Have A Heart???!

I think there are some misunderstanding here. You see, since you auntie case is a special one, like what you mention. To find a cure for it, the doctors definitely have to remove part of the brain to do a study for it - in order to find a effective way to combat the cancer. If not, will you want them to operate directly on the head without any concrete study ?

Experimenting Doctors....Don t They Have A Heart???!

Postby roche » Fri Apr 01, 2011 8:55 pm

The family was against the procedure because we were already informed beforehand of her vague chance to live with or without the operation. The doctors even said that she can die during the procedure or last for merely a couple of days after the operation. All hopes were gone. Thus, the question why did they suggested that procedure when all hopes were gone. After the family had decided against the procedure these doctors recommended to just bring her home. At that point when they suggested the biopsy and the operation, they have already made clear beforehand that there can never be any cure. So why the need for biopsy. The procedures they all wanted was not for cure but for their study which they wanted to do at the expense of the patient's almost lifeless body and her family's finance. We are not stupid though not to notice that that was what they are up to. Any study can be done after a person's death. She was already at the point of combating life and death deltasswat. Acceptance was the only thing needed at that time on the part of the family. And we all had accepted it.

Experimenting Doctors....Don t They Have A Heart???!

Im sorry about your aunt, that really sucks. But I dont see a thing wrong with them experimenting on her since it was a rare case. If I had something like that I sure as hell would want doctors to experiment on me because maybe, just maybe, they might find a cure or a way to fight it, and then the next person that gets it would be better off. Think about it that way, they are trying to help other people that are still alive.

Hi darkjedi. It's easier said than done. When you are not in that situation it is hard to comprehend and feel the same way like the family. Also, a study like that can be initiated after the death of the patient. Thanks for your response.

Hi Toni madam, it is really sad on my part to learn this behavior of the doctors. I was working in the capacity of medical representative of am reputed International firm. I know what gifts, what incentives they give to the doctors, what for, for this only, for money and false fame, some doctors can go to any extent. Any way gone is gone, take care. Jena

I know it's impossible for you not to feel sad now but I hope you are feeling better now. Your Auntie will want you to live happily. That's really unethical of the doctors. If the doctors want to use your Aunties as a subject, they should ask for your permission and also pay for the expenses. My daddy had a heart attack last year. He did a angioplasty surgery. After the surgery, they asked if he wants to try out a new medication which is not out in the market. It was still at the experimenting stage so the medication was free. They also promised to regularly monitor his health which they really do.
