False imprisonment???

i have a boyfriend that is in jail in saint johns county florida. he has been in there for 6 months. everyone else involved in the crime, was sentenced to time but him. they keep post poning his court dates and keeping him in there for no reason. the dude that was going to press charges, claims he doesnt even know him and has never seen him in his life but yet he is still just sitting in there eating up our tax money. why and HOW do they do this? its not what the people KNOW, its WHAT THEY CAN PROVE IN COURT right?!?! i need some help cause i want to do something abuot this ASAP!

Bail him out until his trial date.

Depending on the charges and the state you are in, it could be years before his trial comes up. 6 months is nothing. You don't mention the charges against him, severity or number of charges so it is impossible to gauge how long it might take.

His attorney should be representing him, contact his attorney to get the latest updates.

I really hate to say this, but you need to talk to a lawyer. I do not like lawyers.
