How many traffic tickets will a city police officer give out in any given day?

How many locations could one locate themselves at during the day? Are they assigned or just chose themselves? Just wondering how complicated their lives are. Thank you

Contrary to popular belief, Police officers do NOT have to meet a quota by month's end. They write tickets based on their own judgement and can write as many as 0 one day and 100 the next. It depends on how many infractions they see and if the WANT to issue a ticket,

During the day it'll probably be about 25-50 but after dark sometimes it's none. There's no specific amount but they can tell when they're not doing their job.
