How to end the mafia and why the cops are actually for the mafia. What do you think about this?

If the mafia's were ended there would be a drastic reduction in the amount of police needed to "fight" them. To me this is just a big act by the police force but I know there are some cops that think it's real to them - they are later back stabbed by the system when they find out the truth.

Here's the situation... You have illegalized drugs in society that have a very inflated street value and thus a very lucrative black market. The reason is because of the laws and legal system.

More "bad" guys = more cops and more prisons. Gangs usually are fighting over territory to do business so the fact that it's the drugs creating the violence is not really accurate.

The reason the cops don't want to legalize drugs is not because they think they are bad but in reality it's because they can't do real trades in life am I correct? So they become cops to fight the "bad" guys. Some cops themselves know exactly what I'm saying about the system and most would never ever go for this because bottom line is they would be out of a job - couple what I have just said with the fact that the good guys (the cops) never (well usually never) get the head bad guy and the drug business always thrives just like law enforcement. I know some of you cops really think you are stopping the drug traffic but in reality you just secure the business by keeping the risk high and the profit high - real criminals don't care if their caught some live quite well in prison because they have power and they can actually run their business from prison and call hits ect..

The simple solution would be to legalize drugs... Why? because it takes away the profit motive and the mafia would not exist - that's right no mafia and much less police - that would be awesome for all of us.

Would this be bad for society to have drugs legalized - of course it would but it woulndn't be as bad as the current situation and drug war that is devistating the real economy and part of the reason the US is bankrupt and an uncompetitive nation of misfits that don't have real trades - oh well if you call a "service" person a trade I guess I'm wrong but how many meter maids, wasteful government projects/programs, and taco bell workers do we need.... We need a real infrastructure not a police state and when you think about it the police state is the security force of the top dogs in the mafia weather you like it or not your getting played.

Legalizing drugs does not gareentee more drug users - in some cases the drugs become less cool.. Society still needs to educate people - and alot of that should lay not just on the government but parents who aren't doing their dam job to teach children to be productive members of society and lawful.

There could still be laws about using drugs at work and being on drugs while driving ect so I'm not saying make a loose noose but just eliminate the mafia's by eliminating the rules they manipulate. We should have to dictate what an adult decides to put in their body - a good society uses the resources to make opportunities rather than police everything and the end result is less drug addicts. There will always be crime, violent people, ect so you hard core cops never have to worry - your trade is secure but the police state has to go if we really want to eliminate the mafias. If you were true you would agree otherwise your just part of them anyway.

In some ways the mafia is actually protected by cops because the big dogs know all the inside tricks and they make the cops seem like keystone cops that usually only get the little guys which is job security for the big cartels.

Ok any criticisms to what I said - am I making this **** up... look around man you know I'm right.

There are some flaws in your argument. First the mafia generally does not deal in drugs. They mainly deal in corruption, extortion, and fraud. Those businesses would continue. Second you think cops are against legalization. It turns out there is a large group who are not. Check out this website:

There is no vast conspiracy. Just because drugs are legalized doesn't mean addicts still won't steal, rob, and burglarize to get money to buy the product- even if it is available at the grocery store.

Tune up your position with facts man. No country has actually legalized drugs but some have decriminalized them- there is a difference. Study up on Portugal this is the most recent country to decriminalize some drugs. Most people look to Amsterdam, but they are still illegal there they just choose to ignore enforcing the laws. If you are going to push this argument, make it legit.

I've been against prohibition for awhile. We're incarcerating people for selling and possessing things that are primarily destructive to themselves. If you want to use meth constantly and die of heart problems in your 30's, go for it. People will break laws to support their habit whether it's legal or not.

I didn't read anything else you wrote because it's very long and I'm not patient enough right now.
