Don't speak of the "wrong ticket" as what was he right ticket? So indicate you are not guilty and that you did not use your cell phone that day. You take in your statement. However, could you have had your mother or Father's phone with you that day? I am not sure you can overcome that. Could take their bills as well in case he claims you may have used that. Did he write down the make of your cell phone or anything like that? So why would he give you a ticket saying you were on the cell phone if you weren't on it? Why would he stop you? Are you black or hispanic where he could have been prejudiced and discriminating? When I went in for a ticket in a school zone, where neither my husband nor I saw the flashing light, the judge didn't pay much attention to me at all. He actually asked he officer if reducing my amount of money and not giving me points or requiring me to go to traffic school was okay with him. I figured it didn't matter what I said. I think I might have been better off to get an attorney but might have cost me anyway. Good luck to you.I am given a ticket saying that I was on my cell phone while I was driving (when the phone was in my jacket and did not use at all that day), he did not want to listen to me or check my phone on that spot saying if I want to say anything I appear in court and pay fine! I got my statement from phone company indicating all calls for the month. Whatelse do you think I need to show them to prove that he gave me wrong ticket?
