I was served a trespass order in NZ?

Postby collyer » Thu Apr 05, 2012 10:17 am

Living with owner of home for over a yr. Rent paid on time for duration, have a signing book for proof. Owner met a man, fell in love, he took a shine to me, I was not interested so owner got a trespass order on me. I had no time to find a place. I was allowed to take two carloads, then was told not to take my final load. Owner and I and police had verbal agreement that I could take all my things out that day, but owner decided to be a ***** and tell me I could not take anymore. I still have property there but am not able to collect it. I am upset that I have no rights under the law. Why is it that I pay on time for over a year, a good flatmate, and then the owner can do this to me?. Where is the justice. NZ legislation needs to change and fast. I need some honest help here.
