This is such a weird situation I find myself in. I am a 29 year old female and live in Texas with my 5 year old son. I am a US veteran and a full time college student. I have had a very rough childhood and my family, including my mother and sisters have done nothing but bring me down. I am on the right track, seek mental health treatment, pay all my bills and take great care of my child. A few days ago I have had enough and told them all that I need space and a chance to prove to them that I am doing good and all is being taken care of. Since then, they have constantly called, texted, emailed me with demands to call them, show them proof of my bank account balance, bills paid, etc. Also they are calling my landlord, and my va doctors asking all kinds of personal questions about me. They said they will call the police if I don't comply with all their demands. My bills are paid, my house is extremely clean, my son has everything he needs and I provide for him well. I cannot concentrate on school work, can't sleep or function well because of their constant demands and telling me how I'm a terrible person and doing the wrong thing. Please tell me legally what my options are. I see no need for them ever to call the police on me. I'm just focused on school, my treatment at the hospital and taking care of my child. Please help me. Any info or advise on Texas law about this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
