Immigration Law Question?

Postby bronsin » Wed Dec 14, 2011 11:22 am

I have an immigration law question?
and I hope someone genuine comes on to answer, without telling me pure bull sheet I have had to hear earlier:
Immigration Law Question?
My I-130 was approved. But my I-485 was not approved yet. I applied September 2009 and came here March 2007?
I hope this is enough details. Does anyone know when my I-485/green card will be approved and why they by passed the date they said it would be approved? And, I do not need irrelevant comments, if you have something to help me with, much thanks to you, for example, if you have the knowledge of why it takes so long to approve and you share that genuine knowledge with me, it will help me get peace of mind. I feel they should approve me but when I called the center they just sent me another letter saying by so and so date extension to approve your case and then that date went by
Oh yeah, also married a U.S. citizen October 2007

I have also hear the USCIS Nebraska Center takes a long time, so could I be in the category "preadjudicated, awaiting visa number"? I also suspect that very strongly as they have hundred thousands of visas to approve
Also I am blessed with an 18 month old so I do not have any SHAM marriage

Sorry this is not answering your question but I would just like to say thank you very much for coming to our country in a legal manner. Thank you again and I hope you and your husband have a great life here.
