No... as long as you are on the policy as insured you are as good as gold.  If an officer pulls you more than and asks for proof of insurance the insurance coverage car you make identifes the insurance coverage holder(your husband) and the car insured.  That should be good enough.    If not then the officer doesn't know specifically what he is carrying out... he/she produced a mistake.

The insurance coverage is in my husband?s name and we each and every personal one of our vehicles.  Ours do not match and we reside in NJ.  This is perfectly fine.

Just proof of insurance all that is required... I believe so The car my husband and I both drive(he is the owner of the car, his name is on the title)...anyway his insurance card says my name(since we are using the car insurance that I was using when we got married, and mine offers more than his old one)...anyway the insurance card says my name but with his VIN number...so in that case it must be ok...his car registration card says his name.  Hope this helps! aj0905 77 months ago Please sign in to give a compliment.
