Is an unsafe lane change a violation of probation?

I got a speeding ticket 2 months ago as a minor and today i got an unsafe lane change citation. It was super foggy and the wheel overcorrected and i went i tried to get back into the lane I was pulled over? Is this a violation of probation?

Different states have different laws, but where I live that would be a violation of probation.

No that would not violate criminal probation anyplace in the US it is not a criminal charge it is a traffic citation. Unless you mean your driving privileges are on a probationary period and then it would violate the license probation.

I'd suggest you leave out things like "the wheel overcorrected" when you talk to a judge or probation officer.

Technically, yes, it's a violation. But one traffic offense is unlikely to cause you a problem. Two in two months, however, may start to look like a pattern the PO can't ignore.

I hope you at least done damagecontrol and immediately notified the PO.
