Is Bad To Keep In Touch With Another Party's Attorney Over My Attorney's Mind?

Postby artzai » Mon Dec 30, 2013 11:55 am

My new lawyer named their lawyer(and the judge) and delivered and required lots of documents, despite the fact that we're very near to atmosphere and they could be needless. Their lawyer talked to me and told me he appears my attorney is basically attempting to allow it to be appropriate into a massive situation to produce some $$$. He also stated he's not made to hold in touch with me now. but we did. What're the ramifications people speaking? And what may possibly my attorney state if he discovers?

I agree, with RG - and furthermore - this is the attorney who is AGAINST you. Why would you believe a word he says? My feeling is he is playing you - tell your attorney immediately.

Oh man you are in a pickle!!!!  If I was in your situation I would go out and retain a third attorney just to keep track of what's going on with the first two.  You know what they always say, you can never have enough lawyers.  Plus, it would be a good idea to get an opinion from a new perspective.  Until then keep your mouth shut! The attorney who spoke to you can get in trouble with the State Bar. If I were your attorney, I'd report him.

Call your attorney immediately and tell him what happened, the other attorney is trying to settle quickly, he must think you can win a lot more if your attorney continues with this case. Plus if you go with this attorney behind your attorneys back you my friend broke the law and could lose all!

What that attorney did is not legal!
