Gay marriage isn't even a crime (unless you live in N.Carolina). No offense, but this pastor of your is blatantly careless about real world problems, and is ignorant in the way he sees things. Laws don't prevent people from murdering, it just sets up a punishment, and even then, people can get away with crimes if they have enough money. That's life for you, people are either ignorant or out for themselves, even at the expense of others.
I think the bigger problem is the hate and intolerance being taught in churches.

I think the pastor and his bigoted ignorant views are the worst problem for your city - as his obnoxious lies might spread and more people might believe his BS.

His problem is he takes his morality from the bible which doesn't understand that all people have various sexualities, because the brain and body can differ in which sexuality they take on.
Your pastor has no understanding of biology and neurology and is just shooting his ignorant mouth off.

He is more dangerous than a murderer.

God puts no value on sin. Sin is sin from stealing to killing. We are the ones who put a price on sin. Not god.

I don't think that is a sin, however, that is for Him to decide.

The Bible says all sin is equal to Him, so (if we say that homosexuality actually IS a sin, not that I believe that) neither.

No religion that teaches HATE is from God, it's a form of control. Whatever comes from God, really, is love, unification, charity. I had a catholic priest talking about hatred too, not gays but he was dissing another religion, I stood up and walked away.

Think for yourself, feel it in your heart, do you really believe Jesus would judge anyone? He never did in His life. You loose your time in churches, religions, cults with hatred.
The most famous ones teaches hatred why? Cause they mean to control people, not to help them to become a better person.

thats almost as touchy of a subject as abortion... great question and just as impossible to answer correctly.. sorry man I do not no. gay marriage is not hurting anyone people chose to be hurt by it.. if you got a problem with it keep it to yourself and no its not your worries there the ones who are going to be judged differently.. murder well thats bad and no one likes it so i guess gay marriage cuz it doesnt kill anyone

one thing is that gay marrage isnt a crime it is a simple act of love between two people but many peoples religions descriminate/are against it which is a croc of ****. and here is another way to view gay marriage if you are against it you are against love which can be related to hate and in some religions it is a sin to hate or there sacred book is against hate. in christianity in the bible verse 1 John 3:15 "Anyone who hates another brother or sister is really a murderer at heart. And you know that murderers don’t have eternal life within them."

"Gay marriage" is not a crime at all. If you think that it is, you - like many people - do not understand the issue and have been confused by the words that news reporters intentionally use to make the issue seem more drastic (and important) than it is.

In the U.S. it **is not legally possible** to prohibit same-sex couples from participating in a marriage ceremony. That *cannot* be prohibited by law in the U.S. and it is NOT a crime in ANY state, territory or district of the U.S.

About the rest: your pastor used a poor choice of words. Same-sex marriage is not the worst problem; same-sex marriage is the worst problem *that can be controlled by simply voting*. Same-sex marriage is the most important **issue that can be affected by a mere vote** - not the most important issue period.
