The bible teaches that any kind of sexual sin is worse because you are not only sinning against God but sinning against your own body thus opening your body up to attack from disease and illness.

molestation of adults
abuse of adults
drought
war
fires in California and nearby states.
disease
famine
a horrible accident that kills hundreds, such as a plane going down or a ship sinking.
the state of our education
the state of our job market
poverty
the state of foster care
the fact that so many children are orphaned
Bigger than all the chemicals we put in our food (mean and plant alike)
Bigger than the super viruses we create by over using antibiotics.
and so much more.

Honestly, the fact that they're so focused on hate really shows one of the biggest problems with religion.
Whether you believe the Bible says something against homosexuality or not, if you've actually read it you'd realized that it didn't actually say much about it.

However Jesus had plenty to say about helping the poor, and loving they neighbors for they are your brothers and sisters and God is your father and you are all his children.
Even if homosexuality is a sin, they are still your brothers and your sisters and they are still children of God.
Your job as a Christian is not to judge them, for those who judge shall be judged and we will all be judged by God in the end.

GOD is JUDGE
we can only discern...

both are very (very bad) in GOD'S EYES

both lead to the land becoming infected (poor morals)
a leader with poor morals infects the nation as we see (Bible)

and this is actually something that grows worse (until true repentance comes)

BOTH are subject to not being able to enter THE ETERNITY

both are not the unforgivable sin.....(so people can change their ways and find salvation)
the murderer cannot while he dwells in the flesh...(he must be sent to GOD for JUDGMENT)
a person who is gay can change their ways immediately (and be in good standing with GOD)
....though they will be tested ....(i won't get into this_)


1Jo 3:15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer:
and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

(not while they dwell in the flesh.,,_) they might find forgiveness in HEAVEN
once JUDGED......(for this crime)
and i believe that the person who was killed will have a say in this matter...

GOD is not going to allow wicked people to enter THE ETERNITY
that is what this age is all about

satan and all the wicked people are going to perish
only the JUST shall live (according to The Bible/GOD'S WORD)

we want them to reform (and LIVE)

its their choice though

AID's is not a blessing
its something else entirely

and this even infects non-gay people
due to lies and dishonesty....(*people who live double lives*)


JESUS CHRIST has power to forgive sin
both of these can be forgiveble.....(one now, one "perhaps" "later")


repentance has rules
remorse and a change of heart toward the matter


FAITH in JESUS heals all wounds (but ONE)
meaning the unforgivable sin...

and only an elect soul can commit this sin....(and i do not believe they will)
this can only be committed when the false messiah is here......(anyway)

I would have suggested that you ask him what he means before assuming but he just turned his back so that is out.

He might be thinking in terms of consequence. To a Christian eternal salvation is a larger issue than what you experience on earth. A murderer still might repent particularly since noone condones their actions but deeming gay marriage at law is inviting a lack of repentence. By contrast, to an atheist death is the end so murder is the worst.

At law murder is literally a crime and gay marriage is not. With vast experience societies can probably handle a spate of murders better than devaluing and possibly destroying the fundamental unit of society being the family.

You seem to be focussed on prevalence. Right now you have a lot more murder than gay marriage. However many large corporations are funding a push for gay marriage. Everyone condemns murder. Things might change.

What is your purpose in asking? You go to Church and are in R & S. Are you seeking a Christian perspective or just curious about the views out there?
