Is it Ok to shoot cats on your property?

Postby toryn34 » Sun Mar 11, 2012 2:17 am

These cat vermin keep tresspassing onto my field and try and kill my hens. So do I have the right to kill them as it seems like talking to the owner is going to get nowhere?

No. If one of your hens escaped and someone shot it I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be happy. Owners can't stop their cats from going in certain gardens either. Jeeze.

Id get a trap you would use for trapping possums and raccoons and put food in it and trap the cats and take them to the pound or something. But I wouldn't wanna shoot em even if they did trespass. I guess if you could get away with it. Just kidding :P
