In 2001 I had hip replacements on both hips and had metal clips inserted on both sides. After I healed after the surgery and started walking again I had a limp. My parents thought it was just a muscle problem and had to rebuild it. I went through physical therapy but the limp never approved. About 7 years later, the limp continued and pain started to arise. I went to see another doctor and it turns out they totally messed up on my left hip, it wasn't moving normal in the socket causing a limp and chronic pain. Because of this severe hip pain i've been on painkillers since I was 16. I am now dependent on them being only 19 years old. I now have severe chronic pain in my hips and have clips that NEED to be removed. The problem is I can't afford another surgery. I have insurance but can't possibly pay a co-pay, living on my own with my boyfriend and barely getting by. I feel that I should be compensated for my suffering and for money for the surgery to correct their mistake. What do you guys think? Is this a reasonable lawsuit?
