I received two letters from Robert J Nobile, Esq c/o Gilardi & Co. LLC regarding the FedEx Ground and the Department of Labor OFCCP Conciliation Agreement. I know that the suit is legitimate. However, the letters I received from this law office state the amount of money I may receive as part of the lawsuit, but they are requesting that I complete an information verification form. The form looks pretty standard, except it asks for my social security number for tax purposes. Is this a standard process for class action lawsuits or should I assume this is some type of scam?
