Labor laws about being fired for the wrong reason and with holding paychecks.?

I was fired from ravens bar and restaurant for supposedly cheating on time clock, which they had the wrong information, and I asked for my pay stubs to show it which I had in a second folder in my work files. They happened to disappear somehow. They had the bare information which gets changed when they call into payroll to tell them the correct amount of hours, they also cut down 30-60 mins off each night by going to the time I did my end of shift which is the first thing I did after my last customer left, them I would do my closing duties. I have everything documented and just wondering where I should go from here..?

Contact your attorney general, better business bureau, and consult with an attorney.

They can fire you for any reason save discrimination issues so that ends that case. Why in the hell did you keep a personal folder at the work place instead of your home? Unless you have evidence to the contrary and since the accusation is cheating on the time clock you are up a creek without a paddle in the whole thing. They owe you your legit wages and you can sue them in samll claims .
