Paychecks and labor laws (colorado)?

A company has been taking too much money out of employees paychecks. The company has admitted fault and rather than fixing the problem, did it again. We are now sitting at 2 pay periods that we have been shorted. What rights do we have as employees?

Paychecks and labor laws (colorado)?

How are they taking out too much money? Do they have the wrong tax tables so too much tax is coming out? Are these garnishments that are being taken at too high of a percentage of the total check? Need more detail to help you here.

If you believe you are being overtaxed, the federal tax tables are available at www.irs.gov in Circular 15. The Colorado tax tables should be available online as well. (Look for your pay frequency, filing status, number of allowances claimed on your W-4 and then read down the rows until you find the line that matches the amount of your check.)

Or, if you'll post the gross amount of the check and each of the deductions, we can check the calculations for you.
