Lecturer will not mark work but keeps me registered on the module , best course of action?

My lecturer will not mark my work for reasons being attendance, however I gave valid reasons for my lack of attendance which were accepted by other lecturers. I made every effort to complete the courseworks given and it is one module which has not been marked.

I was not given any warnings nor taken off the module, I am still registered on the module, this I find frustrating because I have the grades for all the other modules except for one and the coursework does not state that class discussions were part of the assessments which was the other detail conveyed to me about the reason for attendance.

I have sent complaints to the university and they have not got back to me. I don't understand how the lecturer will not mark my work which was handed in on time, but still keeps me on the module? Is this illegal?
