New York State Law/School Code?

In NYS it is illegal to search a teacher's car, even if it is on school property, unless there is a warrant or consent by the teacher. SO, if an illegal substance is found in a teacher's car during an illegal search (no warrant or consent) can the school still fire said teacher? Where would I found my school's code between the school & teachers?
