An example of a white collar crime?

I'm not so up to date with the news so can someone help me find a news story on a white collar crime, here's what it means:

Catch-all phrase for a variety of frauds, schemes, and commercial offenses by businesspersons, confidence men, and public officials. It includes a broad range of nonviolent offenses that have cheating as their central element. Consumer fraud, bribery, and stock manipulation are examples.

Where can I find information on business debt laws in the state of Texas?

I know there are consumer debt laws that protect individuals, but I cannot find any reference to business debt laws. For instance, what the collections agencies are and are not allowed to do, etc.

Thanks in advance!

How do I find a good lawyer and how do I take my case to small claims court in Kelowna, BC?

I am leasing a new vehicle. The dealership I am leasing from requires the vehicle to be inspected before it is returned. Their own inspector found damage on my vehicle that had been painted over. I have never been in an accident or had any body work done to my vehicle, meaning this is previous damage that I was unaware of prior to me leasing it.

I believe I am a strong conservative, but am conflicted with this. What do you guys think?

I support the death penalty 100%

I disagree with unions.

Prison sentences should be much stronger. Im sorry, parole after 8 years for someone who kills their parents is ridiculous.

Against the legalization of marijuana. That would be just the start and everything would be legalized then. No, the buck needs to stop somewhere.

Against public universities. Ive seen her in Canada since it is all public universities the complete devaluing of a university degree. ...

Each one of those the conservatives were against and ended up losing , Why?

No return, no exchange policy

I usually see this sign posted in some of the malls and groceries and sometimes even printed on transaction slips or official receipts. In our country, this is against the law i.e. consumer rights, but still most of the stores do not abide by this. How can we, the consumers, be protected by unscrupulous businessowners?

When will healthcare supporters start admitting that Obama's Healthcare is a failure?

The New York Times reports there is a "growing frenzy of mergers" in the health care field in which hospitals and other care providers, pressured by the new law's provisions, are joining forces to save money. "Consumer advocates fear that the health care law could worsen some of the very problems it was meant to solve," the paper reports, "by reducing competition, driving up costs and creating incentives for doctors and hospitals to stint on ...
