Oregon Workers Compensation...?

Postby dalon » Mon Apr 04, 2011 9:32 am

If you have a workers compensation claim for breaking your foot and your doctor said it was ok to return to work as long as you can remain seated, but your work denies doing that. So they send you home until you heal. But then a week after they call you and say your laid off. Is this legal?? I would be at work but im injured. And the busy season is just begining! Any links would be great on this situation.

everything you have described is correct, there is a misconception that people cannot be fired/layed off while on Workman's comp this is not true it happens often.
