Partner Owes Lease, Utilites, And It Is Inaccessible

Postby Mordecai » Tue Jun 10, 2014 11:06 am

We reside in their state of Washington. Our partner wrote me a look for her 50% of the lease this month, that we transferred to my bill subsequently published a check towards the landlord for that total volume. I later recognized my partneris check returned. Since I advised her of the she's been inaccessible, her mobile phone is switched off and he or she can't be approached. She also owes me this monthis utilites along with a amount of the lease in the past 8 weeks aswell. May she be evicted despite the fact that the entire quantity of rent was settled towards the landlord (by me) and just how may I get my cash because she can not be attained?

Roommate Owes Rent, Utilites, And Is Unreachable

What do you mean by "my roommate" - are you both on the lease as co-tenants, or are you the only person on the lease and she's your tenant? If it's the latter you can evict her. If it's the former, you're at the mercy of your landlord.
