Police using internet searches to catch criminals?

Obviously it would be possible for gov / police to target someone and by way of their IP address determine what types of things they search for. For instance if someone made a lot searches about "moving stolen merchandise" or "how to dispose of bodies" or "how to hide drugs in a car". What are your thoughts on the legality of this technique and of the current use of it by law enforcement?

They only would if they need to. If someone had to, say, find out how to build a bomb, and there were reports of that person talking about making bombs, they might be able to see the history and saved searches to see what you have been looking up.

Ovbiously they have to do things to validate wages and keep themseves in jobs. There are too many & the system is too top heavly financially and not public friendly. This system is very close to compelte collapse financially and like all empires will soon collapse.

Are you saying can the government look at your search history if they had to? If so, then yes. They can look at what you searched, typed, or whatever. No matter what.
