We gave the our landlord 425 first month rent. The following week 200 dollars deposit still we did not move in. We didnt sign a lease and today we decieded not to get the duplex are we entitled to any money back. All this happend in 2 weeks.

Why on earth would you give them $625 without a lease. Anyhow it sounds like you have a oral contract and that being the case, no you can't get your money back. You could simply explain it all to them and ask for your money back, but don't be surprised if they say no. You could also take them to court but I doubt the money a judge would grant you would cover the $625 you paid (and he may say you owe more since you never gave any notice on a (oral) lease).
