Retail Theft In Illinois

Postby jarl » Thu Dec 19, 2013 3:50 pm

I need to have some aid!
I am 17 years old from Illinois, my record is clean, correctly was clean....The other day my sister and I have been caught stealing at JC Penny. I know i was incorrect and i'll never ever ever do it again. I in no way know what i am supposed to do...do i need a lawyer, or do i just plead guilty. I know i'm guilty, and if JC Penny has proof and i do not plead guilty...does that lead to larger difficulty?
It was a regional ordinance with a value of much less then $150.00.
Also my bail was $750.00 but we only had to spend ten%. Does this imply in court the judge decides if i spend the rest, or do i have to pay it automatically?
Any imput would be incredibly beneficial!!!
Thank you!

If i beg "Not Liable" even so the shop has proof of my cousin and i taking is that likely to make every thing worse?
I wish i was nonetheless a modest =(...I do not get why 18 is deemed an adult for anything else but 17 is deemed an adult when getting arrested.

Help is definitely an amount of cash that's compensated by the defendent to be able to be-released from prison and you'd lose that entire amount if you don't come in court. (Also click the term help to find out more.)

Yes! Should you provide a guilty plea (if your guilty) a package could be provided that'll decrease cost and/or phrase
