Rights to a paper bill and to dispute cell phone charges.?

Postby artek57 » Mon Dec 12, 2011 11:36 pm

I know a monthly no contract cell phone provider that doesn't send a paper bills to their customers. All they receive is a text message on how much they owe. This causes all kinds of issues when unexplained charges pop on their bill.

Isn't there a Federal Trade Commission rule or law that consumers of a monthly subscription service must by default be presented with a monthly paper bill explaining charges incurred during the billing month?

would this be the link I would look for? your input is welcomed...

Whether you get a paper bill or not is dictated by contract...but you always have a right to specific call data which you can dispute.
